First of all let's discuss what is currently written and said about vending machines.
Recently many companies are trying to sell the concept of remote management of vending machines,
and they are usually focusing on the DataBase side showing how good it is to be able to read data
and see them arranged in charts.
It's a pity that actually that is the simplest part of the story.
To read data it is necessary to gather them. The problem is that there are many models of
machines and making them go wireless is not so plug and play as somebody claims.
Nevertheless, with good will and our TCS boards it is possible to do a good and RELIABLE job.
We have 20 years of experience in coin operated machines, 3000 Photo booths run on our electronics
and we know how to do something that works well, that is not so simple in a difficult environment as the
vending machine is.
We have already equipped many Photo Booths with a remote control system based on our TCS boards and
we have equipped Zanussi Spazio Coffee machine with a TCS unit sending SMS alarms in case of generic
problems or specific out of coffee and out of cups alarms.
The TCS-LC board has been specifically designed for applications in vending machines, with a LCD display
to indicate messages, ready to integrate Mobile Payment, whenever supported by operators.
