TCS-Printer Hardware (see also pictures at the bottom of this page) Power: the unit works at 12V DC, 2A Buttons: LED indicators: SIM: To use the TCS Printer you need to insert a SIM that does not have the PIN request. To remove this request please use your phone. How to use the TCS-Printer TCS-Printer is a SMS printing device that can receive and print up to 4 SMS. It is possible to store a form in memory to use as a header. Once you apply power you have to wait to the unit to register and this may take about 30 seconds to 1 minute. You cannot send messages in this time. The unit is registered when the green light in the receiving module (the box in the back) is lit. TCS-Printer commads and setup First of all set your telephone number with the following SMS #PWD123456#TEL01=9998888777 where 9998888777 is the number where you want all service messages to be sent. The printer will acknowledge the receipt of the messages to this number When you send a message to be printed you can choose to Print, print with Form, Write into memory, using the P,F,W commands. Composing a message to be printed: As an example, the following message: !a11Wthis is the first line of the header this is the second line this is the third line will store in the TCS Printer that message to be printed everytime, if requested with a F command, at the top of the printout. the following message: !b11Fthis is my first SMS Will printout as: this is the first line of the header this is the second line this is the third line this is my first SMS The following message: !c11PThis is my second message will print out as: This is my second message BOLD It is possible to print in Bold using #B and #b For example, the following message: !d11PToday I feel #BBold#b will print: Today I feel Bold NOTE: Bold and normal characters can be mixed in the same line DOUBLE HEIGHT It is possible to print double height For example: the following message !e11P#DToday I feel Double #d Will print in Double Height NOTE: It is NOT possible to mix double height with other characters and the start command #D must always be in the beginning of the line and the end command (#d) must always be in the following line) MULTI PART MESSAGES If you need to print a longer text you may use multi part messages, up to 4. This has nothing to do with the system used by phone. You have to send 4 individual messages and identify they as a group with the first letter and then identify which part they are with the 2 numbers. As an example !a14Pthis is the first message !a24Pthis is the second message !a34Pthis is the third message !a44Pthis is the 4th message Will print as: this is the first message this is the second message this is the third message this is the 4th message RECEIPT CONFIRMATION Once the message has been received by the printer, a confirmation message is sent to the phone programmed in TEL01 (programmed as explained in the beginning). If the receiving person presses the Right button on the printer, an acknowledgement will be sent to TEL01 (the text will be (COD(R)). Contact us for any other information. |
