DPS-Promatic srl is an italian company which started manufacturing electronic machines in 1981. In the past 30 years we have developed many products. On the 4th of June 2002 DPS-Promatic has installed in its home town the first Park Meter payable by mobile telephone in cooperation with Vodafone Omnitel and the local Park and Transport authority, ATR. A press conference accompanied the event. DPS-Promatic is now evaluating to start manufacturing this innovative park meters, to be used also with coins and not only with phone, to be powered with a solar panel. Having a GSM modem inside would make it easy to maintain and audit them. This would be useful for customers since nowadays there is a sort of quasi monopoly with a very few manufacturers. DPS-Promatic started manufacturing ticket printing and coin operated machines more than 20 years ago, and has the know-how to design and manufacture a very good product. Having made thousands of scales, blood pressure monitors, photo booths and coin operated other machines must have taught something! |
