IMPORTANT: NEVER connect the temperature in place of the RS232 neither do the opposite because PERMANENT DAMAGE, not covered by warranty, will occur !!!

TCS MINI temperature adjustment instructions


TCS-MINI with temperature options can measure temperature in steps of 1 degree centigrade.


Every TCS MINI must be matched to its probe to ensure maximum accuracy.
If you change the probe or the board you will need to adjus the trimmer on the board, please follow these instructions:
  • 1- Locate the adjustment trimmer and the probe connector.
  • 2- Use a multimeter with 0.001V accuracy and measure between red and black wires
  • 3- Put the probe in a temperature that you know and allow it to stabilize
  • 3- The voltage you read must be the 2.982 at 25 degrees centigrade or anyway 2.732 at 0 degrees increasing 0.010 V at each degree. As an example, at 10 degrees you will have to read 2.832, at 11 degrees 2.842 and so on.
  • 4- Use the Adjustment trimmer to adjust to the correct temperature reading as indicated above.
