Many old people live alone and taking care of any unlucky event that may occur to them
is a matter of the greatest importance. With a TCS it is possible to send alarms up to 8 phones.
The cheapest solution is putting a push-button somewhere at home, to be pushed in an emergency
to trigger the automatic dispatch of up to 8 SMS messages to the telephones of relatives and friends.
A much better solution is buying a remote control unit, available in shops for as little as 75 Euro (about 60 USD),
that can activate a relay from a distance that goes up to 300 mt (1000 ft). The receiver of the remote control is connected to
the TCS that will send the SMS messages.
Of course a TCS can do this and other features at the same time.
For a simple application the TCS-MICRO is enough (1 input) but doesn't have a battery backup
For a more sophisticated system, or to monitor more people ( up to 8) the TCS 3.5 is necessary.
Take a look at a flash demo of the GrandMa alarm.
