TCS-GPS help on line



 
To use your TCS-GPS II first of all you need to insert a SIM. You can use:
  • 1- a standard SIM, with data number (if you want to be able to download the log on flash eprom and program it in data mode)
  • 2- a DATA-ONLY SIM, but you will be unable to use the optional microphone input to listen to environmental sounds.
    • To be able to use the TCS-GPSII:
  • 1- Push the small yellow button to eject the SIM holder
  • 2- insert a SIM that does not ask for a PIN code (to remove this request you should insert it in a phone and select this feature).
    Once you have succesfully switched on your TCS-GPS you may program a PIN into it using the #PIN command and then you can insert a SIM with that PIN you have programmed.
