Disclaimer: read carefully!
1- DPS-Promatic TCS products are intended for trained people, not for consumers.
If you feel you don't understand some technical aspects, please refer to somebody that has a technical background.
2- The TCS OS operating system is CASE SENSITIVE. If we write 'menu' is different from 'MENU'.
3- Look carefully at the PIN issues before attempting to switch on the TCS with a SIM inside or you may lock the SIM.
4- PC utilities like TCS-CAM Controller or TCS Commander are provided free of charge with the products. Thank you for reporting any bugs you may find or any suggestion for improvements.
5- Some functions will be available only if you have purchased them.
6- We constantly try to improve the TCS hardware and software and so you could find that something is different from what you read on this pages. In case of doubt contact us
7- GSM telecommunications are generally reliable but you should never design something critical based on their reliability or based on our board performance since it depends on GSM communications. For greater safety you should use redundant solutions.
8- SMS messages usually work very well and have many advantages over normal calls.
Anyway always keep in mind that an SMS could not arrive and you cannot complain with your operator for this. We have done intensive tests and it looks like 99% of the messages arrive within a few seconds but there are periods in which the messages will not work or will be delayed. Performance varies among operators.
9- Any Relay mounted on TCS boards is a low power device and has limits on the voltage and current you can apply to its contacts: MAX 48VAC 0.5 A.
10- Life support: our units are NOT intended for any life support device, thus intending a device whose malfunction may result in damage to a life.
11- We try our best to produce bug free devices and to explain features well into this pages. Nevertheless keep in mind that we can't be liable for anything exceeding the simply repair of our device, for free if warranty conditions apply, once they have been submitted to us.
