TCS OS COMMANDS LIST

Conventions used in commands:
<mandatory field> = indicates a mandatory field to be typed after the command
[optional field] = indicates an optional field, that can be omitted

Command: #MTX
Description: Associates an event (alarm) to a set of telephone numbers (from 1 to 8 or 0 for none) to which it will send an alarm SMS.

Different TCS products have different matrix event identifier, in details:

  • MTX01 is related with Input 1
  • MTX08 is related with Input 8
  • MTX02 to MTX7 are related to INPUT 2 to 7
  • MTX09 is related to temperature alarm
  • MTX10 is related to Power Down alarm
  • MTX11 is related to 4-20 ma analog input alarm

  • TCS MINI
  • MTX01 is related with Input 1
  • MTX02 is related with Input 2
  • MTX09 is related to temperature alarm
  • MTX10 is related to Power Down alarm

  • TCS-GPS
  • MTX21 is related to Input 01 alarm
  • MTX22 is related to TCS-GPSII startup alarm
  • MTX23 is not used
  • MTX24 is related to TCS-GPSII 4-20 ma alarm
  • MTX25 is related to TCS-GPSII leaving monitored area
  • MTX26 is related to TCS-GPSII entering monitored area
  • MTX27 is related to TCS-GPSII high speed limit
  • MTX28 is related to TCS-GPSII Acceleration alarm
  • MTX29 is related to TCS-GPSII SMS log
  • MTX30 is related to EGA ON service message
  • MTX31 in not used

  • TCS MICRO
  • MTX01 is related to input 1
  • MTX10 is related to Power ON alert
  • MTX90 is related a daily counter function (sends counters every day between 10 and 11 am)

  • TCS-AWS
  • MTX51 is related to Low Temperature alarm
  • MTX52 is related to Strong Wind alarm
  • MTX53 is related to Heavy Rain alarm
  • MTX54 is not used
  • MTX55 is related to Flash Memory full alarm
  • MTX56 is related to Power Down alarm***
  • MTX57 is related to Shutdown alarm
  • MTX58 is related to the log sent by SMS
  • *** Warning: if you enable the power down alarm inserting a telephone in row 56 you will receive an SMS every time External Power goes and comes.
    If you are powered by a Solar Panel you will receive 2 sms every time a cloud obscures the sun!!!!

    Special TCS Versions
  • TCS-VR (custom made to interface Veeder Root petrol level meters)
  • MTX01 is related with Input 1
  • MTX02 is related with Input 2
  • MTX03 = System Alarm
  • MTX04 = Tank Alarm
  • MTX05 = Liquid Sensor Alarm
  • MTX06 = Input Alarm
  • MTX07 = Theft Alarm
  • MTX09 is related to temperature alarm
  • MTX10 is related to Power Down alarm


  • Command availability: Command line and SMS
    Syntax:
  • #MTX?
    Returns all matrix values
  • #MTX<xx>?
    Returns specific matrix row
  • #MTX<xx>[=]tttttttt
    Where xx is the row to program and tttttttt are any of the 8 TELephones in TEL list.
    I.E. MTX11=12000000 means that alarms for event 11 will be sent to GSM programmed in position 01 and 02 with the #TEL command.

  • Mandatory fields: <xx> is the matrix row number and has a different meaning according to TCS product, see syntax above for more details.
    Optional fields: [=] allowed to improve readability
