TCS OS COMMANDS LIST

Conventions used in commands:
<mandatory field> = indicates a mandatory field to be typed after the command
[optional field] = indicates an optional field, that can be omitted

Command: #IPM
Description: Sets the input mode for the individual inputs as follows:
  • 0 = Active Low
  • 1 = Active High
  • 2 = Pulse Counter: counts low going pulses, minimum width 15 ms.
  • 3 = Time Counter: increments COUNTER and SUBCOUNTER every 10 minutes that input is kept continuously at a LOW level. SUBCOUNTER is reset to 0 every time it matches comparator value and an alarm is generated.
  • 5 = time counter with final SMS: when input x (set as ipm=5) goes LOW or more than 5 seconds, it will send an SMS with start time. When the input returns high, it will send an SMS with stop time and duration.
  • Command availability: Command line and SMS
    Syntax:
  • #IPM?
    Returns current values for all 8 inputs, i.e. #IPM30011200
  • #IPM[=]<iiiiiiii>
    Sets all the values for the 8 inputs,
    i.e. #IPM30011200 means:
  • i1 = 3 (time counter)
  • i2 = 0 (active low)
  • i3 = 0 (active low)
  • i4 = 1 (active high)
  • i5 = 1 (active high)
  • i6 = 2 (counter)
  • i7 = 0 (active low)
  • i8 = 0 (active low)

  • Inputs 7 and 8 can only be 0 or 1 (can't be counters)
  • Mandatory fields:
  • <iiiiiiii>
    Values (0,1,2) corresponding to the 8 inputs. I.e. 00011200
  • Optional fields: [=] optional equal sign, to improve readability
    Examples:
  • #IPM?
  • #IPM00011200
  • #IPM=00011200
  • Default value after #INI: 00000000
    Default value after reset: Unchanged
    ADMIN Password privileges: Read/Write
    USER Password privileges: Read
    Notes: Available on units produced after september 2003.
