TCS OS COMMANDS LIST

Conventions used in commands:
<mandatory field> = indicates a mandatory field to be typed after the command
[optional field] = indicates an optional field, that can be omitted

Command: #EVE
Description: Condition EVENT alarm to low state of specific input 1 to 8.
When an alarm EVENT is generated for Input, temperature etc., before sending the alarm TCS OS checks the value associated in the EVE string.
If the value is 0 the alarm is sent immediately.
If the value is any other value from 1 to 8 the EVENT ALARM generates an SMS ONLY if that input (from 1 to 8) is in a LOW state. Otherwise the alarm is canceled.
The EVE command is followed by a string with 11 numbers, one for each event that the TCS 3.5 can generate, that are: inputs (1..8), Temperature, Analog input, Power.
Product availability: TCS 3.5=Y TCS-CAM=N TCS-AWS=N TCS-MINI=M TCS-GPS=N
Command availability: Command line and SMS
Syntax:
  • #EVE?
    Returns current values i.e.: #EVE=00011200333
  • #EVE[=]<abcdefghijk>
  • Mandatory fields:
  • <abcdefghijk>
    a..k = Values (0...8) corresponding to 0 (= no condition) or a value from 1 to 8.
    E.G. 00001220011.
The position in the string corresponds to which event the condition is applied.
  • a = input 1
  • b = input 2
  • c = input 3
  • d = input 4
  • e = input 5
  • f = input 6
  • g = input 7
  • h = input 8
  • i = temperature alarm
  • j = power down alarm
  • k= 4-20 ma analog input
  • If the value in the corresponding position is 0, then the alarm generated by the event a..k is sent immediately.
  • If the value is a number from 1 to 8, the event is conditioned by fact that the input corresponding to that number is at a LOW (0 V) level.
  • Optional fields: [=] optional equal sign, to improve readability
    Examples:
  • #EVE?
  • #EVE=00000000000 (no condition set)
  • #EVE00001000111
  • #IPM=00000000234
  • Default value after #INI: 00000000000
    Default value after reset: Unchanged
    ADMIN Password privileges: Read/Write
    USER Password privileges: Read
Notes: This command is very powerful but can be difficult to understand. In case you have any doubt don't use the EVE command and make sure your EVE string is at 00000000000 that is the default condition after an INI. You can check it with #EVE?.
