Input, messages and GSM TEL numbers
One of the most important functions of the TCS is to receive alarms.
We call this ALERT function. In order to do this properly, you must tell the TCS which are
the recipient numbers and who should receive a message for any particular input.
ALARM MESSAGES
First of all you should know that for any INPUT there is a message, that can be programmed
by you and that can be up to 40 characters long.
You should also know that for simplicity, input 1 to 8 are real inputs and according
to the TCS device there could be other events that can couse an alarm:
TCS 3.5
TCS GPS II
TCS AWS
Depending on TCS product and version, some alarms have programmable text (up to 40 characters)
with the #AMS instruction and some have fixed test.
For some Alarms the unit will send measured data along with Alarm message.
