  INPUT counters and sub-counters

All inputs can be active low or active high. They generate an alarm whenever they have been pulled active for more than the programmed length of time (from 2 to 32000 seconds ).
In TCS 3.5 delivered after September 2003 there is also the time counter function that will increment time count as long as the related input is held low.
You can read anytime INPUTs status with the #GIO command.

Input 1 to 6 can be individually programmed to behave differently and count the input active low pulses, up to 14 ms fast. This means that you can connect them to a mechanical counter or to a coin acceptor and count the pulses. Every pulse will increment the Counter related to that input ( i.e. COUNTER 1 for Input 1) and also the SUB counter related to it.
The sub-counter will increment until it reaches a value equal to the comparation value, as stored into the COMPARATOR VALUE available for each of the 1..6 INPUTS.
When that value is reached, the SUB-COUNTER returns to 0 and an ALARM is sent with the text for that INPUT to the GSM number(s) indicated in the matrix, for that INPUT.
All COUNTERS, SUB-COUNTERS, COMPARATORS values can be programmed using commands #CNT, #CNP, #CCA. Input mode can be set using the #IDT command.
NOTE: When used as counters input work only in ACTIVE LOW mode. They count ONLY Low Going Pulses.
NOTE: the #EVE command can be used to create an AND function between alarms and any of the 8 inputs.
