DPS-Promatic TCS-AWS weather station can be supplied in many languages. If a language is not available we will evaluate if preparing the software provided that our customers supply the voice files. Details are provided below. The TCS-AWS weather station has a database of sentences that are put together by the microprocessor to create the final sentence. As an example, to say: Wind coming from - East - Speed - 25 - Km per hour The sentences used are : Wind coming from East Speed 20 5 Km per hour In order to put together a complete speech in a language we need the following sentences or words, that must be recorded in a WAV file, Mono, 44 Khz, 16 bit maximum lenght not exceeding 56 seconds: All the basic numbers (that will be used to create all numbers): 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19 20,30,40,50,60,70,80,90,100,1000 It is important that numbers are spoken in a way so they can match well together. Once you have recorded them try to play them mixed so you can check the result. Remember to record the ZERO. 0- Your personal initial announce (maximum 8 seconds) If there is no special request we will use the standard message that is: 'DPS-Promatic Telecom Control Systems, TCS autonomous weather station'. 1- weather data measured during the last: 2- minutes 3- Wind coming from 4- North 5- East 4- South 6- West 7- No wind 8- Direction 9- steady 10- unsteady 11- wind speed 12- minimum 13- maximum 14- Kilometers per hour 15- Meters Per second 16- Knots 17- Temperature 18- minus 19- today's minimum 20- today's maximum 21- degrees 21b - Centigrade 22- Farheneit 23- Last hour rainfall 24- Last 24 hours rainfall 25- mm 26- tenth of an inch 27- Humidity 27b- dewpoint 28- percent 29- thank you for calling 30- and Please check the complete AWS standard message in english as a reference.
